Puzzle 15.  DOUBLET

Doublet is a game Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, invented.  The object of the game DOUBLET is to change a word into another word by successively changing only one letter at the time to form an intermediate valid word.   For example, the following process changes the word HIT to OUT:

H A T
O A T
O U T

Using similar process, change the words
